Youth Activities

Bnai Keshet has a growing offering of activities for its youth. Following you will find a brief description of those activities and a listing of some upcoming events. Please feel free to contact Andy Schattner for more information on Youth Activities at Bnai Keshet, or to join the Youth Activities Committee.

Bnai Bnai Keshet
The coming year will mark the sixth for our Pre K to 2nd Grade group. Bnai Bnai Keshet is intended is to provide an introduction to a “youth group” environment for participants. All Pre-K to 2nd Graders and their parents are invited to attend, with family members of all ages always welcome. All activities are parent and child, which provides a great opportunity for parents to meet and get to know other members of the BK community.

Keshet Kinder
This was the third year for our 3rd to 5th Grade program. Keshet Kinder provides activities during the course of the year. In the past years, our activities have included Bowling, Swimming and a Monster Purim Party. We kicked off this year with a Soccer Maccabiah Games at the Montclair Soccer Dome. Activities combine a focus on Holidays, Jewish Identity and of course fun as our children participate in a youth group without their parents for the first time!

Noar Keshet
This was the second year for our 6th, 7th and 8th Grade program. Activities combined a focus on Holidays, Jewish Identity and of course fun as our children participated in a youth group without their parents! In addition in the tradition of Jewish Youth Groups, Noar Keshet provides our youth the opportunity to participate in developing and leading their own activities.

YAC
Bnai Keshet Youth Activities is organized by the Youth Activities Committee (YAC). This group of volunteers works together to develop and lead activities for our children.
