Immigrant Detention Center Visits
We organize weekly or bi-weekly visits to those who have escaped dangerous situations in their home countries and arrived in the U.S. seeking asylum. We visit them at local detention centers, where they have been held pending their asylum hearings. Read about the program.
HOMECorp's mission is to provide safe, permanently affordable housing in Montclair and to promote neighborhood development. It seeks to strengthen the community foundation by assisting families who are largely disenfranchised from the robust housing market in Montclair. Interfaith Hospitality Network
Once a year Bnai Keshet hosts the Interfaith Hospitality Network, which gives temporarily homeless families a supportive home environment. Families stay in our Red Gables Building for a week in the summer, and congregational members volunteer to help cook dinner, play with children and be there to help out.

The Rachel Coalition was founded by the MetroWest Jewish community in January, 1997 to provide services for victims of domestic violence.
